Although ASAT™ is a professional association of practitioners of a specific system of facilitation called ASAT™ C.O.R.E. Counseling, non-practitioners wishing to join the society in furthering its aims and objectives may apply as Affiliate Members. Affiliate Members are limited in their scope of involvement with ASAT™, especially in areas and activities related specifically to ASAT™ C.O.R.E. Counseling process, procedures and practice. However, Affiliate Members may participate in meetings and programs involving issues related to alternative therapy in general.

The following is a brief description of the three levels of ASAT™ membership

Lay Affiliate Members
Lay Affiliate Members are those members who are either (1) not involved in an alternative healing profession, or (2) do not wish to register their profession. Lay Affiliate Members receive a certificate of Membership in ASAT™

Registered Affiliate Members
Registered Affiliate Members are those members who register their profession(s) with ASAT™ for referral. Registered Affiliate Members pay a one-time registration fee(s) to register their profession(s). Registered Affiliate Members receive Certificate of Membership in ASAT™ and a Certificate of Registration.

Certified Members
Certified Members are those members who who have completed the ASAT™ Holistic Health Counseling Certification Course in either the three-weekend or Home-Study format. Certified members enjoy full membership in the Society with all the rights and privileges of that membership. Certified Members receive a Certificate of Membership in ASAT™, a Certificate of Certification in Holistic Health Counseling from ASAT™, and a diploma from the Institute of Transformational Studies.
